One part live-action role playing game and one part card game, the BreakAway stakes featured three races - Quarry Rumble Derby (named for the noon-time tremors from blasting at the nearby quarry), the T-Bone Stakes, and the Dixie Cup. Blue-blood horses like “Maiden China” and “A Little Hoarse” and their seasoned jockeys from various departments at BreakAway took to the racetrack in the Hunt Valley studio.
